Get the grades that matters!
Why you get "Cs" when others are getting "As"
It might interest you to know that there are things you are not getting right...if you must know here they are.
1. Try to answer the questions:
At times you discover that you are far from the answers the question requires then you dabble into something different.so make sure you understand the questions before answering it. Make sure you include the salient points don't dwell on stories.
2. Elaborate:
Unless you are asked to be precise write all you know about the question. Just so that you know there is no amount of answer that will get a 100% mark why not aim at 110%. where necessary put drawings, chats, graphs and examples. That makes the difference!
3. Uphold neat arrangements:
If you don't write well it is time to learn, arrange your work neatly.
4. Don't give the marker reasons to flip through:
Make sure you write something on any question you choose to answer, on no account should you leave any number blank.
5. Be as fast as possible:
You have to answer the questions correctly and on time too.
If you can incorporate these five principles you will have this blog to thank...
How to write exams to make "As".
Write exams effectively...
You can make any grade you wish in your exams it is up to you. In case you don't know how, this post is for you.
MAKE "As" IN EXAM
1. Be punctual:
Whenever you have exams try as much as possible to be there on time to avoid coming late and maybe having to go to a hall that you don't like, nothing makes you forget so much than running around while others are writing.
2. Be careful in your choice of seat:
As you choose where to seat make sure you select an area you know that will be very comfortable but in case you are being ushered in seat wherever you are asked to seat.
3.Be quiet:
On no account should you enter exam hall and start making noise, try to maintain absolute tranquility, don't let anyone distract you.
4. Read through:
On getting your question paper read through, mark questions you can answer then proceed to the answer script.
5. Fill in your data appropriately:
Once you get your answer script fill in your data carefully avoid cancelations.
6. Try to make your writings legible:
When writing, write boldly, increase your fonts. Arrange your work properly.
7. Heed to instructions:
Make sure you supply your answers according to the way it was specified in the question paper. Note that "Define" means specificity and when you are ask to "Discuss" don't forget to write all you know about the question, definition, types, forms are required.
8. Preview your work:
Very important part of the whole issue, always go through your work after writing. It might sound easy but it is not, it takes carefulness to achieve this. Read through from beginning to end. Make your corrections.
9. Don't be in a hurry to leave:
After going through your work linger a little bit you might just remember something! Then you might just go ahead and submit.
10. Let submission be the last for the paper:
On no account should you try to crosscheck your book immediately after exams because it increases your anxiety. Go home and relax! if you are sure you did well. Then you have nothing to worry about.

READ TO PASS!
Have you been wondering why you read better than some of your coursemates yet they get higher grade than you...then this is for you...
1. Start reading from the first week:
That is, from the first week of resumption start reading at least one hour each day don't miss it...it takes determination to achieve this, but if you you must pass then you must do it.
2. Make sure you are actually reading;
There is time for everything, whenever you seat before your book, notes, articles, make sure your are reading. Get rid of distractions be it environmental or emotional distractions.
3. Leave your comfort zone:
At the moment you feel you want to read, leave your room, go to a quiet place if you love quiet places, in case you don't then go to anywhere that suits you, not just in your room.
4. Keep track of your daily digest:
Exam periods are not periods of play, you had the whole semester to talk put keep in mind that this period is essential. As you cook, wash, walk try to recall what you have read for the day,in case you forget any don't fail to crosscheck as soon as possible.
5. Ask questions:
Feel free to ask your coursemates to explain the examples, tests and notes to you.
Use this five strategy you will have this blog to thank.
